Pocket Birthday Card

Quick card share today as I have to get my DS's ready to go back to school tomorrow!.

I love the idea of making a card to hold the gift... in this case some dosh!  Used some Basic Grey paper and stamped the PTI sentiment in Dark Chocolate.  Machine stitched around the edges and added a "topper" to the pocket.  Then punched some orange stars for a pop of colour.

Thanks for peeking.  Hope you have a terrific day.

Paperplay - "Pink it up"

This week's challenge on Paperplay is "Pink, pink, pink".  It is very kindly sponsored by Bunny Zoe Crafts.
Supplies: PTI Sentiment and frame, TGF Washi tape in pink,
Prima flowers, bubblewrap stamp by Kaiser craft, glue dots and kraft cardstock.

This is outside my comfort zone because I am not a very "pink" gal... having grown up with three brothers!  and now having two sons!!! no pink in this house! LOL!

I decided to pair my "Pink" with kraft and decided to make a "beat up" type of card..... used the wonderful washi tape that my friend Jane sent me - thank you again Jane.  I also stamped my new bubblewrap stamp across the tape and card - it nearly looks like someone stood on it!.

Then added some beautiful Prima Flowers with pop dots and hey presto... lots of pinkness!!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.

Wedding Cards

Following on from my post yesterday you will know that it's "Wedding" over on Paperplay this week.  All you have to do is create a project/card with a Wedding theme.  I just want to share some more Wedding Cards I made in recent weeks.  Same Stamp - different cards.
Used the Forever Friends Wedding Stamp with the sentiment "Congratulations" masked from the bottom.  I then coloured with copics, matted and layered with my scalloped circles, added some stickles for some shine.  Adore the sheer Papermania ribbon - so that had to be included.  The name of the bride and groom I printed on my computer and then stamped the border using PTI fillable frames #1 and cut with the matching die cut.
This card has less colour.  I printed the greeting and again used my PTI set to do the border/cutting.  I cut black cardstock with my Martha Stewart punch and then machine stitched the ribbon to it at the back, tied it on the front.  I added the stamped image with pop dots raised off the card.

Thanks so much for peeking and I hope you play along with us on Paperplay this week.
