Paperplay - Make your own flowers

So this week on Paperplay Challenges - it's "make your own Flowers!"

We are very kindly sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.  Check out all the details and DT creations here.

When I saw Mary Dawn over on My Pink Mexico create these fun flowers a number of months ago I knew I would have to give them a go.  So I got creating when this challenge came along!  I cut long "splits" to create larger flowers.

The sentiment/paper is by Kaisercraft - Bubblegum Hills Collection and the felt is from my stash.  I decided to make an orange leaf and glued the flower/leaf onto the card with glossy accents.

Hi Deirdre, I have been having a few problems leaving comments lately, all since I fiddled with my blog settings (what a mistake to make)!!Nevermind it seems to be fine today. Love this card and your flower is gorgeous, I must check out the video!
