CARDS/Create Blog - Woodgrain Challenge

Supplies:  Hot pink Cardstock - folia, orange textured cardstock -
Papermania, pp - Pina Colada collection - Kaisercraft, PTI
vintage button - ocean tide, Fiskars upper crest border punch,
Tim Holtz embossing folder, kraft cardstock, embroidery
floss, Beautiful Butterflies Stampin' Up die,
Tombow adhesive, cork  and SRM sticker.

My card for this week's challenge on CREATE (formerly CARDS blog).  This week's challenge was "Woodgrain".  I decided to incorporate the woodgrain in embossing rather than stamping.  Made the card using bright colours and some fun pp.

Was delighted to see my card in the CARDS gallery (after Virginia told me it was there! - thanks Virginia).

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day and wonderful weekend.

Deirdre I love how you used the embossing as your woodgrain element. Perfect textural background for your gorgeous butterfly.
