Thinking of you - Happy World Cardmaking Day 2010

Supplies:  Velvet Flower freebie - Tiffany Doodles, Basic Background v2 digital kit 

by Sande Krieger, pink seed beads, glossy accents, Quickutz cookie cutter circle dies,

Papermania textured cardstock,  ribbon by MemrieMare on Etsy, 

black machine stitching and copics.

Just to let all my cardmaking friends around the world that "I am thinking of you all today" - Happy World Cardmaking Day!. 

I had this wonderful Tiffany Doodles velvet flower freebie left over from another project and wanted to use it.  I could only fit a portion of the flower on the printing page so I had a "piece" rather than a full flower to use.  I coloured it with copics, added glossy accents and pink seed beads.  Then I used background paper from this digital kit, created the sentiment on top in photoshop - printed, added the flower on top and added some of the beautiful distressed ribbon by MemrieMare on Etsy.

I paired it with co-ordinating Papermania textured cardstock and added black machine stitching for added interest.

Hello everyone, tis me! We are just back from two weeks vacation in West Cork, Ireland.  Had generally good weather (which is always a bonus in Ireland!!) LOL!!!

I have a number of things to catch up on over the next couple of hours... including loads of laundry! Just wanted to post this quick card and enter it for this weeks CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge which is sponsored this week by the ultra talented - Jane Beljo.  It is a "case" of DT Member - Karen B's wonderful card here.
