Awards and a quick card share

Imagine my delight when Jane left me a message to pop over to her blog... and look what she gave me.... Thank you so much Jane.  Check out her blog here.
Then Martina gave me this one above - check out her blog here.  Thank you so much Martina - so glad that people like visiting my blog.

I visit so many inspirational blogs each day and try and leave comments on them all.... you know who you are!!!

So, feel free to take these award sand post on your blog as there are too many people to list.

Now a quick card....
Supplies:  PP- Blue Awning by K&Co, butterfly from Winged Friends Digital kit
by Hero Arts, fimo button I made, machine stitching, copics,
SRM Sticker and peach/pale pink cardstock.

Got this wonderful die cut embossed cardstock piece from Joy recently (thanks again Joy) and had to use it right away - added it to this wonderful K&Co paper and a SRM sticker for a quick birthday card.

Just Because! Card

This was the card I made as my DT card for Paperplay Challenges last Thursday - but decided to redo and make cards using Hero Arts products since it was a challenge they ran last year called "mail it" which inspired me to set my first challenge - "Just Because".  If you don't know about it - check out the details here.  You can still enter - closing date is Wednesday 10th March at 9.00pm GMT.

This card is using K&Co pp, Bazzill dotted swiss, machine stitching, sentiment from Papermania, brown cardstock cut in my Big Shot with my large scalloped circles.  Buttons from Papermania and puffy vintage flower - inspired by Dawn McVey (tutorial video here).

Thanks so much for peeking and hope you have a great week.

Card using Mo's Digital Pencil image

Happy Saturday.  Just sharing a card I made last night and took a photo of at night (sorry folks!).  It is an image from Mo's Digital Pencil shop by the ultra talented Maurie J Manning.   I used copics to colour, matted on pp from K&Co and Papermania.  Velvet ribbon from Papermania, Martha Stewart punch and Scalloped Circles Large.

I am entering this card into the allsorts Challenge this week - which is to use pink and brown on your card.  The little girls cardi and skirt are actually very pale pink.. just photographed badly.  Will take another shot of it tomorrow and post the comparison so you can see.

Bugaboo Stamps are doing their first ever blog hop - drop by here to start and to check out their cards/projects and possibly win some digital images.

I spotted that my local Art Store got a delivery of Martha Stewart Punches yesterday (after I had visited them yesterday morning!!) so I dashed in this morning and picked up these.

and I picked up pansy punch around the page and an edge punch too.... off to create and will hopefully upload a card in a while.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you are having a great weekend.
