On the 17th of each month, Claire and the team at
Waltzingmouse Stamps have a blog party. I have never played along before but when I saw Claire's post on
February 1st I decided to try and meet the deadline and play along - it's "Looking Forward to Spring".
For me, Spring is all about the rebirth, renewal and regrowth. I think this is especially seen in our gardens /plants at this time of the year so I focused on flowers for my "Spring" card. In our family there are also lots of birthdays in Spring!.
pp kissing booth - Basic Grey, Pink cardstock - Penny Black,
kraft cardstock - Anita's/Papermania, tea dye
distressing ink, blending tool, Papermania white pearls,
corner punch - X-Cut, threading water border
punch - Fiskars, stamping press - Fiskars, guillotine - Purple Cows,
foam dots, tombow roller adhesive and detail cutting scissors.
Initially I was going to colour the flowers with copics so I created a mask to stamp the flowers repeatedly in the same "bunch", but in the end I decided to paper piece with different shades of patterned papers from the Kissing Booth collection.
You still have time to get a card made before the party kicks off this evening - all the details are here!. Everyone is invited.... dig out your WMS stamps and get inky! Thanks so much for stopping by - hope you have a great day/weekend.
