Just saying hello

Supplies:  Anita's A6 cardblank, Hero Arts digi kit - Flower Bicycle
Hero Arts Everyday Sayings CL342, Friend Definition - CG125,
tea dye distress ink and blending tool, pop dots, tombow roller adhesive,
Spellbinders heart dies, Cosmo Cricket pp, copics BG10, E43,Y28, YG23,
YG17,YG63, G14 and G82.

It has been ages since I entered a monthly challenge over on Hero Arts and guess what! I missed this month's one too.  It was "Friendship and Hello Cards".

Laura O'Donnell posted a fantastic card using a new digi kit on the two peas gallery here.  I decided to do a version of it but changed out the flower basket.

I have a stash of A6 card blanks that I like to use - so instead of printing and cropping I decided to wrap the bicycle image around the back of the card!.  I set up the image in Word and printed from there.
I stamped the Friend Definition stamp on some scrap cardstock, distressed it, folded it and added it to the basket, also added a heart cut with my Spellbinders heart die out of Cosmo Cricket pp.  Added a little tiny pearl to the front wheel and stamped my sentiment.

Thanks for peeking, hope you are having a great weekend.

Thank you for your friendship

Supplies:  Hero Arts Friend Definition Stamp, HA Large Open Flower,
HA Everyday sayings, clear embossing powder, Adirondack Acrylic paint dabber -
sunshine yellow, Distress inks - spiced marmalade, barn door and fired brick,
heat gun, red cardstock - Canson, A6 card blank by Anita's and adhesive.

The Card Chain Challenge (CCC) that Deborah used to run has moved over to Lily Pad Cards and has a couple of changes.  Now you must make your card, post the link and then you are entered.

This month I followed the "theme" - friendship and decided to stay away from the sketch or colour palette.  Normally I would try and incorporate more than one aspect in my card but in order to meet the May 6th deadline - this is my card.  Lot going on this week!

I am also entering it into this month's challenge over on Hero Arts - Fabulous Flowers and ATC's.

Hope you are having a great Tuesday - won't be around much this week but will get caught up next week - I promise.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
