Paperplay Challenge - "Just Because"

Last year Hero Arts ran a challenge called "Mail It" and this week's Paperplay Challenge is inspired by that theme.

This week I am setting the Paperplay Challenge and I want you to make a card/project - "Just Because".  We have been busy making Valentines, St Patrick's Day Card, Mother's Day ... so this week I want you to make a "just because" card - thinking of you, miss you and send it !

I am sponsoring this week's challenge and am putting up goodies from Hero Arts as the prize.  They include:
Hero Arts Flower Box Cling Stamp CG127
Hero Hues Folded Cards - Daffodil (pack of 10)
Hero Hues Envelopes - Daffodil (pack of 10)
Hero Hues Pearls - Light Yellow CH198
and a selection of Hero Hues Art Flowers and Vintage Collage flowers (pictured above)

Made these super quick cards with Hero Arts Antique Brocade Cling stamp (CG102), prima flowers, white fimo button, embroidery thread, sentiments from Hero Arts and Papermania, Spiced marmalade distress ink and embossing powder, colorbox chalk ink and Hero arts smooth gemstones.  The stamp fits these 4x4 cards just perfectly.

I am also entering these cards into this month's Hero Arts Challenge - "Spring and Easter" as I think they are bright and cheery enough for Spring.

Thanks so much for peeking.  I really do hope that you will play along this week.

Just trying to catch up on all my blogs Deirdre and I just love all your work over the past few posts - decided to comment on one rather than repeating myself LOL

Hey Deirdre! These are super fun cards!! Love the simple design.

AND your comment about me being on the cover of the CARDS mag just BLEW me away! I had no idea. I have never been a cover girl before and this is BEYOND exciting for me (and my mom, when I tell her!). I am going to have my Aussie GF send me an issue. Thanks for the heads up! Hugs,
