Hero Arts Challenge - Flowers and St Patrick's Day

This month's theme over on Hero Arts is Flowers and St Patrick's Day.  My SIL asked me to make a card for a very good friend who celebrated her birthday yesterday - so didn't post it until I knew she had received it!!!  I made a Miss Party Owl with a party hat/hair accessory!!!
Supplies: Hero Arts K5059 Big Owl, pp by K&Co, MS border punch, prima flower,
fimo sparkly white button made by me! embroidery floss, pop dots, pee wee glitter, glossy accents,
glue dots, HA smooth gemstones and copics.

The colours are a little off in the photo - very gray/grey and dull here this morning.  The face of miss owl is actually glittered with pee wee glitter.  The wings open back to read - Olivia, Happy 30th Birthday - have a hoot!.

Hope you are having a great weekend.  Thanks so much for stopping by and would love it you left a comment.  I love reading them all.

Mo's Challenge #17 and digi freebies

Happy Friday everyone!

Firstly, thank you Mo for the wonderful prize from last week's Challenge.  I can't wait to get creating!.

I made this for this week's challenge # 17 which is to incorporate "wood/would" into your project.  I just realised as I am going to upload this that one of the DT - Dawn Burnworth used the same image on her card/project - and it is AMAZING!!!  Going to enter it anyways....
Supplies: Mo's digital image, pp from October Afternoon - ducks in a row range,
Spellbinders scalloped circles, Quickutz nesting circles, MS loop punch, copics and pop dots.

The image I used is a free digi image from Mo's Digital Pencil Group called "home tweet home" over on Paper Craft Planet.  If you become a member for every 100 members Mo offers a new freebie so GO JOIN NOW.  I printed the sign twice and cut and adhered with pop dots which isn't very evident from the photo.  Gray and dull here this morning!.

Just a few things I want to share

Paula from Pollycraft Designs launched her new range of fairies this week which are amazing but also she has her freebie friday digital image available - cute cute ducks (just perfect for spring).  Check it out here.

2peas released new digital kits today which are amazing but there is also an AMAZING free one by Betsy Tuma called Glitterati : Cupid - just perfect for those Valentines cards and pages.  Check it out here.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope you have a terrific weekend.

Bugaboo Buttons and Valentine's Sentiments

You know it's going to be a great day when you open your post and find goodies like this inside an envelope followed by this beautiful card.
I received these goodies from Melissa - THANK YOU MELISSA.  I won these on Bugaboo's First Blog Hop.  They are stunning little creations, Melissa calls them buttons but I think they are more like miniature masterpieces.  She used Bugaboo digital images which you know I love.  If you haven't seen my previous posts about Bugaboo - check out Jodie's blog here, shop here and challenge blog here.

Bugaboo also have a fun challenge currently running over on Catch the Bug (their challenge blog) - it is Valentine's with a twist and is on until the 7th of February.  There are also freebie images available since last Friday - quick... go check it out.

Looking for great sentiments for inclusion in your Valentine's Cards?  Looking for fun romantic retro graphics? - look no further.  Paper Crafts Magazine have downloads available right here.  Be sure to go check them out.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Happy Wednesday!

Shades of Gray - Mo's Digital Challenge #16

Supplies - Digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil, Spellbinders Labels One and Lrg Scalloped Circles,
PP by K&Co, Textured cardstock by Papermania and hat pin by Oasis, copics and pop dots.

This week's challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil is "Shades of Gray/Grey" and I created the above using my copics.  I only recently discovered these images but just adore Maurie J Manning's amazing creations.  This one is called "Bella Hearts Bronte".

Thank you all who left well wishes for my DS.  This is what he did for the weekend!  Rest, rest and more rest.  I cut the back slab/cast off yesterday - on the doctor's instruction!.  It is not fractured and he is once again running around - so only a very fleeting injury which we are most thankful for.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

p.s. obviously my camera returned from it's secret adventure too!!! LOL!!!

Happy Monday and free digis

Good morning everyone. Today is a bit strange because my camera has gone on it's own adventure in the back of my DH's car!!! and I won't be able to retrieve it from its travels until much later tonight!!!

So I am photoless!!!!! I have a couple of cards completed and ready to share... but they will have to wait until later.

I was missing over the weekend as my youngest son injured his ankle on Friday and is in a half cast called a back slab until later today when I can cut it off and hopefully he will recover quickly as thankfully it isn't fractured.  The joys of energetic boys!!!  So no real time to blog or craft.

I made a card late last night for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #16 - "Shade of Gray/Grey!".  I just ADORE Maurie J Manning's images and they are available here and her blog is here.

Wendy is sharing a free digital sentiment (birth circle) featured below - click here to get your copy.
She is also sharing a Hugs & Kisses one that would be just perfect for your Valentine's cards - click here.
I will upload photos on the return of my camera!!!!  I wonder will it capture it's own moments!!!  Hope you all have a terrific week.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
