Thank You!

Given that it is Thanksgiving in America today I thought it was apt that I post a "Thank You" card!.

Whilst sorting through supplies yesterday I found this fun stamp by There She Goes Stamps and knew I had to colour him green and add googly eyes! (inspired by Jennifer McGuire of course!!).  Love the punny sentiment!.

The patterned paper is from a Christmas Pack by Doodlebug Design called "Santa Express".  The dotted paper is adhered using a layer of foam so it is raised but not possible to see in this photo.  I apologise for the poor lighting but that is the quality of light today (read dull and grey!).

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the U.S.  I hope you are enjoying time with family and friends.  Thinking of you all - miss you!  Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek today.

Thank You Bunches!

Supplies: 6x6 "Ginger" papers by My Mind's Eye,
Ruby Red Cardstock by Bazzill, Sentiment Stickers - Jillibean Soup,
Velvet Flowers by Maya Road, pop dots - Stick it!,
pearls in assorted sizes and machine stitching.

Happy Valentine's Day and thank you bunches for stopping by my blog today.

In fact, thank you for stopping by every day I post and leaving sweet comments - I really appreciate them.  So hence a "thank you" from me to you on this "Heart" day.

I don't know if you are like me or not.... too much stash, not enough time!.

I decided to dig into my Simon Says Stamp Card Kits and get creating!  This card was made using supplies from the August 2012 Card Kit.

I just adore the velvet flowers - I adhered some to the pp using glossy accents and others with pop dots for dimension.

Paper Smooches - Sparks Challenge

I have seen some amazing creations in blogland using Paper Smooches stamps/digis and went to invesigate to find a fun challenge here called "Sparks Challenge".
This month's challenge is to use this photo as inspiration.
Here is what I created using the colours and shape as my inspiration.
Supplies:  Quickutz Cookie Cutter circle dies, Papermania white vellum,
Papermania gems, Papermania textured cardstock in orange and peach/pink,
X-Cut scallop border punch, Photoshop, Purple Cows guillotine, adhesive,
glue dots and white cardstock base.

I printed the freebie digital sentiment in lime green on white vellum and printed the freebie digital flowers in aqua/blue on the same sheet of vellum.  I cut out and accented the centres with green/blue gems.  I also offset the scallops in orange and pink.

Be sure to check out the wonderful freebie digital images that Kim has available on Paper Smooches so that you can play along with this fun challenge.
