It is a shaker card which is just a little added twist to the standard Wedding Card. I used the Forever Friends stamp and coloured with copics. The beads are tiny seed beads but shake beautifully under the layer of acetate.
Supplies - DCWV card blank in black, Forever Friends Stamp, Copics, Memento Ink in Black,
Silver cardstock, acetate, Nesties Labels One, seed beads, glitter star by crafttime and foam adhesive.
I also stamped the image on the envelope and coloured again with Copics. This card is for my SIL who is going to a wedding tomorrow.
I attended a wedding a few days ago in the most amazing setting - Holy Cross Abbey and have a few photos to share. It was breathtakingly beautiful in the bitter cold. It started snowing during the ceremony but I didn't manage to capture it when we were leaving as I was busy trying to stay warm!.
Photo of the Cloisters above and a doorway below
You could feel the history of the place all around you and I was disappointed it was raining / snowing as I was unable to capture as many photographs as I would have liked to. Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you are having a wonderful start to 2010.
