Merry & Bright

I guess I can now officially post a Christmas card given that Halloween and Thanksgiving are over!

I knew as soon as I spotted these stamps and matching dies by a new stamp company called Concord & 9th that I had to purchase!.   The stamp set landed on the hall floor and I got creating straight away!.

I stamped the image on a offcut of watercolour paper and painted with watercolours and outlined with a c2 copic marker.

Thanks for peeking.

Thank You!

Given that it is Thanksgiving in America today I thought it was apt that I post a "Thank You" card!.

Whilst sorting through supplies yesterday I found this fun stamp by There She Goes Stamps and knew I had to colour him green and add googly eyes! (inspired by Jennifer McGuire of course!!).  Love the punny sentiment!.

The patterned paper is from a Christmas Pack by Doodlebug Design called "Santa Express".  The dotted paper is adhered using a layer of foam so it is raised but not possible to see in this photo.  I apologise for the poor lighting but that is the quality of light today (read dull and grey!).

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the U.S.  I hope you are enjoying time with family and friends.  Thinking of you all - miss you!  Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek today.

Welcome Baby!

Baby Card for a new arrival!.  Love this onesie stamp from The Greeting Farm.

Stamped, fussy cut, mounted on dimensional adhesive, some washi, enamel dots and hey presto done!  Of course the patterned paper was from a Studio Calico Card Kit!.

Thanks for peeking!.

#happy birthday

So I had a bundle of unopened Studio Calico Card Kits!.  Sound familiar?  I discovered this fab patterned paper in the May 2015 Carolina Moon Card Kit contents.

Added some washi and cut a black foam base for the phone using the MFT Dienamics smart phone (which was also unopened)!!! and matching stamp set called Friend Request.  Kept it very clean and simple!

HELLO!

Well hello!  No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth but in recent weeks my crafting mojo got a kick start and I am back creating.

I am inspired by Jennifer McGuire daily but particularly her "Share Handmade Kindness Campaign" and here is my take on her cards for kids here.
I dipped into some of my unopened Studio Calico card kits and got inky.  The little images are from Mama Elephant.  I gave the little girl shiny red boots by adding glossy accents.  The tags were cut from Simon Says Stamp - Bundle of Stitched Shapes.

Thanks for peeking and thanks so much for stopping by!.
