Supplies: A6 Card blank - Anita's, Embossing Folder - Papermania,
Sentiment - Waltzingmouse Stamps, Black Tuxedo ink - Memento,
Wooden snowflake - Trimcraft UK, kraft cardstock - Bazzill Basics,
pop dots and roller adhesive - Tombow.
This week's challenge on Paperplay is "Snowflakes".
I embossed white cardstock, put it on pop dots and layered it for added dimension. There are wooden shapes all over the crafting world at the moment and I have lots of favourites! I found these in a local craft store and decided they would be perfect for this Challenge.

A really pretty card. I love the embossed background and the use of wood and kraft against white.
The combination of the dry embossing with the wooden snowflake embellishment is fabulous!

Very pretty!
so simple and beautiful! gorgeous card, Deirdre! love it!
So elegantly done!
This is so simple and elegant. I love it! I used to rubber stamp a lot about 10 years ago, but then I got into sewing/quilting more. I put it away for several years. I am getting back into it now, because my 8-year-old daughter loves making cards with my rubber stamps. It's giving me an excuse to pull out the stuff and update my supplies (as if I needed more stuff for the craft room! haha).
