I have had this card in my head for a few weeks following Jill's wonderful tutorial on partial colouring over on the Penny Black blog.
I didn't want to use the entire Hero Arts Digital Collage stamp for this card. I don't own the HA classic holly stamp I decided to just print the holly section, colour it, add glossy accents and do some distressing.
Kept it sentiment free - think I will stamp the greeting inside.

this is lovely Deirdre. I really like using this stamp too! It is such a "classic" holiday image!
wonderful Deirdre... but how did you manage just to print the holly? I have this collage image and would love to do that.
This is a stunning Christmas card, so simple and elegant but it really pops!
Gorgeous Deirdre. The holly looks so beautiful in the subtle glow of the background design.
This is stunning, Deirdre! I love how you coloured the holly and the way you inked the envelope pattern on the edges makes it glow. Fabulous!
