Paperplay - "Happy Shiny People"

This week's Paperplay Challenge is set by Julie.  It is to use a "person" stamp/image, but it must have gloss, shimmer or sparkle on it. This week's challenge is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.  So to be in with a chance to win $15 store credit from this wonderful Company be sure to take part in the challenge this week.
I incorporated the "sparkle" in the gems on the top of the crown cardbase.  I also added glossy accents to his boots after I took the photo - will try and upload a fresh one later today.  I used the digital image - Prince Ian from The Greeting Farm, I found a crown template online, cut out on cardstock, used some machine stitching to adhere two bands of red cardstock to the crown.  Coloured Ian with copics, and used a strip of acetate to have him dangling in front of the card.  The sentiment is printed using a font called CK Newsclips.  A freebie font available here.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you will play along with Paperplay this week.

Fab card, Deirdre - I just love your clean, graphic style. Love the dangly idea with the acetate - hope Ian doesn't get motion sickness!!!! Great font too.

And congrats on getting through to the next round of the Royal Battle - fingers crossed!!

Hope you enjoyed my challenge!
